Sausage Crosia Recipe
"Grilled Italian sausage links with thick slices caramelized sweet onions and Provolone cheese, topped with RR Italian Peppers" - Rose Romano
1.5 lbs of Italian Sausage Links
2 tbsp Olive Oil
2 large Sweet Onions
4 oz. of shredded Provolone Cheese
RR Italian Peppers
Salt & Pepper
In a large pan, on medium low heat, cook 1.5 pounds of Italian sausage links until golden brown on all sides.
Peel two large sweet onions and cut in ½ inch thick slices.
Season both sides of onion slices with 2 TBS of olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.
In same pan, on medium low heat, grill onion slices until golden brown on both sides, turning over once, keeping the slices intact.
Place sausage links and onion slices on serving dish; sprinkle with shredded Provolone cheese (4 oz.).
Top with desired amount of heated RR Italian Peppers.
